ダイコンで「大根絶」園児が鳥取署でダイコン収穫
「交通事故と特殊詐欺を大根(ダイコン)絶!」。ダジャレを交えて事故と詐欺を防ごうと、鳥取署内で20日、園児がダイコンを収穫し、お年寄りらに届けた。
鳥取第三幼稚園(鳥取市浜坂3丁目)の園児28人がこの日署を訪れ、玄関前の花壇に署員が植えたダイコンを次々と抜いていった。最大のものは長さ約45センチ、直径約9センチ。一本一本に「交通事故・特殊詐欺大根絶」と書かれたシールを貼った。男児の一人は「上手に抜けて楽しかった。ダイコンはママがいつもお汁に入れてるよ」と笑顔だった。
園児らは続いて、バスで約1.5キロ離れた秋里公民館(鳥取市秋里)へ。交通安全・特殊詐欺の講習を受けていた地区のお年寄りら約25人に、園児が歌をプレゼント。「気をつけて下さい」と声を掛けながら、収穫したダイコンを配った。お年寄りらは大喜び。最後に全員で「交通事故、特殊詐欺、大根絶!」と声を上げて記念撮影した。(奥平真也)
