堺市の認定こども園で保育士の大半が退職希望 運営法人が市に報告
堺市西区にある認定こども園「あいあい浜寺中央こども園」で、常勤保育士の大半が退職希望を出していることが、市への取材でわかった。新年度から3～5歳児に限定して規模を縮小して運営する方針を示しているという。
市幼保推進課によると、園を運営する社会福祉法人「森の子供」の宮下鉱二理事長が今月8日に市役所を訪れ、「保育士がたくさん辞めるので4月から運営が難しい状況にある」と報告したという。法人の理事の一人がパワーハラスメント的言動をしたことなどを理由に、常勤13人（今年1月時点）のうち、園長をはじめとする10人程度の保育士が退職届を出したという。
同園には4月1日時点で0～5歳児計143人が在籍する予定。市の担当者は12、13日に開かれた保護者説明会にも出席。法人側は説明会で、3～5歳児の受け入れについては継続する考えと、パワハラ的言動をした理事を解任する意向を示したという。
市幼保推進課の担当者は「理事長からは市のサポートをお願いされた。転園希望者については、市内の周辺の園に転園する手続を支援していく」と話している。（井石栄司）
